Misty Haze Indigo

Embleton Bay Fabrics FabricSAF0232-01

Misty Haze Indigo shows broad, painterly stripes in a cool indigo blue, softened by hazy pale bands that lighten the whole surface. The effect feels relaxed and slightly weathered, with the weave giving the colour a gentle, tactile depth.

About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric from the Embleton Bay Fabrics collection has a usable width of 135 cm and a substantial 350 gsm weight, which suits it well to upholstered pieces. The stripe repeats every 17 cm vertically and 34.2 cm horizontally, creating a measured banding across the cloth. In this colourway, the blue reads as muted indigo with a misty, washed quality, while the pale stripes sit close to cream and soften the contrast. The visible weave has a finely speckled texture that keeps the finish looking grounded rather than glossy.

How to use it

Use it on an occasional chair, banquette, or headboard where the broad indigo stripes can read clearly across the form. It works especially well with chalky whites, flax, and weathered oak for a calm coastal scheme.

Pair with sandy neutrals and pale timber to keep the misty stripes feeling fresh and coastal.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
