Cadence Asphalt

Cadence Fabric

Cadence in Asphalt reads as a very dark, muted brown with a cool asphalt cast and a softly matte finish. The plain weave gives the surface a calm, even look with fine textural detail.

About this fabric

This colourway is a deep brown-black neutral, with just enough warmth to stop it feeling flat and enough depth to hold a room together. The image shows a plain, close weave that looks smooth from a distance and lightly textured up close, which suits the fabric’s curtaining use. Made from 100% FR Polyester, it offers a practical fire-retardant specification for made-to-measure curtains and wide drops. At 300 cm wide and with a plain repeat, it is especially well suited to elegant, uninterrupted window treatments.

How to use it

Use Asphalt for full-length curtains, sheers layered behind it, or simple Roman blinds where you want a dark, architectural finish. It pairs well with pale plaster, warm oak, and brushed metal because the shade stays restrained rather than glossy.

A refined dark neutral that frames a room quietly and works beautifully as long, tailored curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
