About this fabric
Woven in 50% Mohair and 50% Acrylic, this upholstery fabric has the dense, even handle you’d expect from a hard-working seating cloth, and its 80,000 Martindale rub test makes it well suited to regular use. The 140 cm width is practical for larger upholstery projects, while the plain pattern keeps the emphasis on texture. In this colourway, Nutmeg sits in a warm brown register with gentle golden undertones, giving the surface a cosy, earthy depth. The pile catches the light softly, so the shade shifts between cocoa and toasted taupe depending on the angle.
How to use it
Use Nutmeg on sofas, armchairs or banquettes where you want a grounded neutral with more warmth than grey. It pairs especially well with oak, aged brass and cream linens for a quietly tailored room.
