Vellamo Fabricvellamo/fa1/cha

Vellamo Brown has a softly striated, woven look in a muted mushroom-brown tone with lighter taupe highlights. The surface reads calm and textural rather than bold, giving the colourway a quietly refined finish.

About this fabric

This Vellamo colourway shows a fine, speckled weave with subtle vertical movement and a dry, tactile handle visible in the surface. The brown is softened with taupe and grey notes, so it sits closer to a warm neutral than a strong chocolate shade. Made from 57% polyester and 43% viscose, it is a substantial 415gsm fabric with a 50,000 Martindale rating, making it suitable for curtains, blinds and upholstery. With no repeat to consider and a width of 140cm / usable width 138cm, it is straightforward to pattern-match for larger projects while keeping the look understated. Dry clean only and do not iron.

How to use it

Use Vellamo Brown on a sofa or dining chairs for a grounded, tailored scheme, or pair it with aged woods, linen and stone-toned walls. Its muted brown depth works especially well where you want warmth without introducing a strong colour statement.

A tonal neutral that feels tailored and versatile across curtains and upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
