Vellamo Yellow has a softly mottled, vertical-textured surface in a muted mustard-gold tone. The colour reads warm and earthy, with a lightly speckled finish that catches the light without looking shiny.

About this fabric

Woven from 57% polyester and 43% viscose, this 415 gsm fabric has the substance expected of an upholstery cloth, while still being suitable for curtains and blinds. The surface shows a fine, irregular slub texture with subtle vertical movement, giving the yellow a dry, tactile finish rather than a flat solid colour. Its 50,000 Martindale rating and 138cm usable width make it a practical choice for high-use furniture as well as coordinated soft furnishings. With no pattern repeat, the effect stays calm and continuous, letting the muted gold tone do the work.

How to use it

Use this yellow with oak, aged brass and warm white to bring a grounded glow to seating or cushions. It also works well as a lively contrast against deep green or charcoal, where the mustard undertone feels richer.

A warm mustard weave that adds quiet richness to tailored seating or statement curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
