Fortazela Yellow pairs a warm mustard ground with painterly florals in pink, teal, indigo and plum for a lively, декоративative look. The colourway feels sunny and slightly earthy, which keeps the large-scale botanical pattern from looking overly sugary.

About this fabric

Woven in 95% cotton and 5% linen at 230gsm, this fabric has enough body for curtains, blinds and soft furnishings while still reading as a textile with a relaxed handle. The 138cm usable width and 46cm horizontal by 54.8cm vertical pattern repeat make the design practical for larger window treatments. On the image, the mustard-yellow ground is softened rather than brightened, giving the blues and pinks a richer contrast and a more grown-up finish. Dry clean only and iron safe, it is a decorative fabric that balances visual drama with everyday usability.

How to use it

This colourway works well in rooms that can carry a strong accent, especially against timber, painted navy or deep green joinery. Let the yellow ground warm a cooler scheme, or pair it with pink and teal cushions to echo the floral palette.

Use it for statement curtains or blinds where the rich mustard ground can let the painterly blooms sing.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
