About this fabric

This Otaru Blue colourway has a cool, slate-leaning blue ground with lighter threads breaking across the surface to create a softly striated, almost weathered look. The weave feels tactile and substantial in the image, with the small flecks and horizontal movement giving it depth rather than a flat solid appearance. Made from 100% polyester, it is suitable for curtains, blinds and upholstery, and its 8,000 Martindale rating supports light- to medium-duty upholstery use. With a usable width of 143cm and a dry-clean-only care instruction, it offers a practical finish for tailored interiors without losing its textured character.

How to use it

Use this blue on a compact armchair, headboard or Roman blind where its cool, layered tone can add quiet structure. It sits especially well beside pale woods, off-white paint and muted navy accents.

Pair with pale oak, chalk white or soft grey for a clean, contemporary finish.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
