Kline blue

Winterskies Fabrickline/fa1/sap

Kline Blue has a layered, weathered look, with pale cream veining breaking over a denim-to-navy ground. The result is a bold abstract surface that feels cool and textural rather than bright.

About this fabric

This fabric is made from 75% polyester and 25% viscose, and its substantial 730 gsm weight gives the cloth a firmly upholstered feel. The visible pattern has a large, broken scale, with chalky ivory strokes crossing soft blue and deep inky navy areas for a moody, brushed effect. With a Martindale rub test of 45,000, it is well suited to high-use upholstery as well as curtains and blinds. The 140 cm width and 35 cm horizontal by 42.5 cm vertical repeat make it practical for larger projects while keeping the dramatic layered pattern intact. Dry clean only and do not iron.

How to use it

This blue colourway works well in scheme with pale oak, stone, and off-white, where its cooler notes read crisp and tailored. It also adds depth to neutral seating when you want pattern without a loud palette.

Use with pale woods and crisp neutrals to let the layered blue pattern stand out.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
