Caledonianforest blue
Wilderness Fabriccaledon/fa1/top
Caledonianforest Blue brings a washed, watercolour forest scene to a pale ground, with soft blue-green trees and moorland shapes drifting across the cloth. The overall effect is airy and painterly, with the motif feeling more like a landscape sketch than a hard-edged print.

About this fabric
Woven in 95% cotton and 5% linen, this fabric has a natural, softly textured handle that suits light-filled window treatments. The design shows misty blue, sage and muted lilac tones scattered across an off-white ground, giving the pattern a cool, woodland feel without becoming dark or heavy. With a 138cm usable width, 70cm horizontal repeat and 45.9cm vertical repeat, it is well suited to curtains, blinds and soft furnishings. At 230gsm, it has enough substance for decorative drapery while still keeping the delicate watercolor effect visible. It is iron safe and dry clean only, with no fire retardant treatment noted.
How to use it
Pair this cool, quiet blue with pale oak, whitewashed timber and linen upholstery for a calm interior. It also works well in rooms that need pattern but not contrast, especially where the soft green-blue palette can echo natural light.
Use it for airy curtains or Roman blinds to let the watery colours read softly.

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Caledonianforest blue without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
