About this fabric

This printed fabric is composed of 95% cotton and 5% linen, with a 230 gsm handle and a usable width of 136cm. The design has a generous 68cm horizontal repeat and 66.74cm vertical repeat, so the birds, branches and berry clusters sit across the cloth with plenty of movement. In this colourway, the reds read as softened berry and rose rather than a hard crimson, giving the pattern a more atmospheric, slightly faded finish. It is suitable for curtains, blinds and soft furnishings, and should be dry cleaned; it is iron safe and not fire retardant.

How to use it

The muted berry tones work beautifully against chalky neutrals, weathered woods and sage accents, especially where you want the pattern to feel painterly rather than bold. Use it for full-length curtains or relaxed blinds to let the soft red details and delicate branchwork come through.

Use for curtains or blinds where the painterly bird-and-branch design can be seen at its best.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
