About this fabric
This Otaru fabric is made from 100% polyester and is specified for curtains, blinds and upholstery, with a Martindale rub test of 8,000 for everyday use. In this colourway the ground reads as a muted terracotta red, lifted by brighter pinkish-red slubs and bands that catch the light across the weave. The surface feels tactile rather than flat, with irregular horizontal threads creating a softly distressed finish. It is 145cm wide overall, with a useable width of 143cm, and should be dry cleaned only and not ironed.
How to use it
Use Otaru Red where you want a warm, textural accent that sits comfortably with oak, tan leather or chalky neutrals. Its rosy red depth also works well in smart layered schemes with rust, plum or muted gold.
Pair with warm neutrals or deep berry accents to let the woven pink-red highlights stand out.
