About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester, this fabric is specified for curtains, blinds and upholstery, with a usable width of 143cm and a total width of 145cm. The surface combines warm orange yarns with golden highlights and deeper red-brown flecks, creating a variegated finish that feels energetic rather than flat. At 214gsm and 8,000 martindale, it sits in a versatile mid-weight range suitable for everyday furnishing projects. There is no visible pattern repeat, so the interest comes from the slubbed, horizontal woven texture and the way the warm tones catch the light. Dry clean only and do not iron.

How to use it

Use Otaru Orange to bring warmth to neutral seating or as a confident curtain fabric in a room with timber, bronze or ochre accents. Its burnt-gold undertone works especially well in schemes that need colour without losing a tailored, grounded feel.

A warm, lively orange weave that adds richness to both soft furnishings and upholstered pieces.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
