Thistleglen orange
Voyagecountry Fabricthistle/fa1/aut
Thistleglen Orange shows a loose painterly thistle design across a pale ground, with warm orange blooms and soft green stems. The overall effect is airy and botanical rather than dense, giving the print a gentle country feel.

About this fabric
Woven in 53% linen and 47% cotton, this fabric has a natural, slightly slubby look that suits its hand-painted style. The orange thistle heads sit against a muted light background, so the colourway feels warm and sunlit without becoming brash. Olive and sage stems temper the brighter petals, creating a balanced palette with a fresh, autumnal edge. With a 134cm usable width and a 67cm horizontal repeat by 89cm vertical repeat, it works well for curtains, blinds and soft furnishings. At 287gsm, it has enough substance for a substantial drape while remaining firmly in decorative fabric territory.
How to use it
Use Thistleglen Orange in relaxed curtains or Roman blinds where the large-scale floral repeat can be appreciated. It pairs especially well with weathered oak, flax-toned upholstery and accents in mossy green or terracotta.
Pair with natural woods and quiet greens to let the painterly thistle motif keep its fresh, country feel.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
