Fairytalebristles orange

Woodlandtales Fabricfairytb/fa1/mgl

Fairytalebristles Orange is a lively painterly floral on a warm, softly aged ground, with coral-orange blooms and fresh green stems repeating across the cloth. The effect is energetic but gentle, with enough contrast to keep the motif crisp without feeling harsh.

About this fabric

Woven in 95% cotton and 5% linen, this fabric has the natural, slightly dry handle suggested by the visible texture and the softly irregular printed edges of the design. The 140cm width makes it practical for both furnishings and window treatments, while the 45.67cm horizontal and 37.52cm vertical repeat supports a clear, medium-scale repeat. Its orange palette reads as coral-apricot rather than bright tangerine, balanced by sage and leaf greens and tiny golden accents that give the pattern a woodland warmth. Care is dry clean only; it is iron safe, with no bleach, fabric softener or tumble drying recommended.

How to use it

Use it to bring a cheerful, softened warmth to accent chairs, cushions or relaxed curtains, especially against oak, limestone or painted sage. The coral-orange tones look particularly appealing in rooms that need colour without losing a natural, collected feel.

Pair with warm neutrals and earthy greens to keep the painterly floral feeling light and fresh.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Fairytalebristles orange without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
