Vesper orange

iKon Fabricvesper/fa1/rus

Vesper Orange has a warm, earthy glow, with painterly leafy branches and berry-toned accents lifted over a rich terracotta ground. The linen-blend texture gives the design a softly woven, tactile look.

About this fabric

This fabric is composed of 82% viscose and 18% linen, giving the surface a subtle lustre against the matte, slubbed ground visible in the swatch. The burnt orange base reads deep and sunbaked rather than bright, while the trailing stems and leaves are picked out in muted gold, olive and soft sage tones. Small berry dots add a richer red-orange accent and help the large 45.3cm horizontal and 58.5cm vertical repeat feel lively across the cloth. At 368gsm with a 136cm usable width, it is well suited to curtains, blinds and soft furnishings, and the dry-clean-only finish keeps the look refined.

How to use it

Use Vesper Orange where you want a room to feel warm and grounded, especially with walnut, aged brass or deep green accents. It would suit full-length curtains or Roman blinds in a space that benefits from a rich autumn palette.

A warm, autumnal colourway that works well for curtains or soft furnishings with a rich, painterly finish.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
