Varys pink

iKon Fabricvarys/fa1/ony

Varys Pink shows a painterly botanical trail on a warm ivory ground, with spiky floral forms and seed heads picked out in berry pink, moss green and soft plum. The repeat feels generous and decorative, giving the design a lively, slightly wild character.

About this fabric

Woven in 95% cotton and 5% linen, this 230gsm fabric has enough substance for curtains, blinds and soft furnishings while still reading as a lighter drapery cloth. The visible weave gives the printed flowers a softly textural surface, and the 138cm usable width makes it practical for making up larger window treatments. In this colourway, the pinks are muted rather than sugary, sitting between rose and magenta so the pattern feels rich but not overpowering. The green stems and smoky grey petals keep the palette grounded, while the 46cm horizontal repeat and 48.5cm vertical repeat create a statement scale that suits the dramatic motif.

How to use it

Use Varys Pink against chalky neutrals, weathered timber and brushed brass to let the berry tones stand out. It works especially well in rooms that need a romantic flourish without becoming overly sweet.

Pair with plaster, moss and soft linen textures to keep the lively florals feeling elegant.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
