Fairytalebristles green

Woodlandtales Fabricfairytb/fa1/for

Fairytalebristles Green brings a richly layered botanical pattern to a soft mossy ground. The mix of leafy greens, plum-pink blooms and berry tones gives it a lively, woodland feel.

About this fabric

Woven in 95% cotton and 5% linen, this 140cm-wide fabric has the easy handle of a decorative furnishing cloth with enough substance to work across interiors. The print shows a dense, painterly trail of flowers and foliage, with the green ground reading slightly muted and earthy rather than bright or spring-like. Pink and magenta blossoms sit against olive, sage and deeper forest notes, so the overall effect feels full and textured with a gentle, hand-painted softness. The pattern repeat is Horizontal: 45.67cm and Vertical: 37.52cm, creating a substantial large-scale rhythm across the cloth. Dry clean only; do not use bleach or fabric softener, and do not tumble dry.

How to use it

Use it on accent chairs, Roman blinds or feature cushions where the moss-green ground can anchor the brighter floral details. It pairs especially well with timber, aged brass and plain linens in warm neutral tones.

A painterly floral on a muted green base, ideal when you want colour without losing a calm, tailored feel.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Fairytalebristles green without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
