Voyage Maison

Rothko green

Winterskies Fabricrothko/fa1/azu

Rothko Green is a painterly, abstract fabric with a softly brushed surface and a cool, misted green palette. The design reads like layered watercolour marks, with pale sage, grey-green and deeper teal notes running through the cloth.

About this fabric

This Voyage Maison fabric from the Winterskies collection is made from 30% polyester, 45% cotton and 25% rayon, with a substantial 300gsm weight and a 140cm width. The colourway combines washed sage, soft sea glass green and greyed aqua, with darker brushy passages that give the surface real depth. Its woven texture keeps the abstract pattern feeling tactile rather than flat, while the wide horizontal and vertical pattern repeats of 73cm and 96cm support a bold, expansive look. Suitable for curtains, blinds and upholstery, it offers enough body for tailoring yet still carries the layered, artistic feel visible in the swatch.

How to use it

Use it on a statement armchair or full-length curtains where the muted green tones can sit against oak, limestone and chalky neutrals. The cooler sage base also pairs well with deep blue-green accessories or brushed brass for a quieter, more contemporary scheme.

Layer with warm neutrals or deep teal accents to bring out the painterly depth.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
