About this fabric

This colourway has a warm, pale cream ground with a faintly chalky softness that keeps the design understated and easy to live with. The surface shows a rich woven texture, with the pattern appearing in low contrast so the fabric feels calm rather than busy. Made from 50% cotton and 50% polyester, it has a substantial 480gsm handle and a 10,000 Martindale rating, making it suitable for curtains, blinds and upholstery. The 143cm width and 35cm by 43cm pattern repeat suit larger projects where the texture can be seen across a broad surface. Dry clean only and do not iron.

How to use it

Use Orta Cream where you want the fabric’s woven texture to soften a room without adding strong colour, especially on upholstered chairs or relaxed drapery. Its muted cream tone works well with pale timber, oatmeal linens and deeper earthy accents.
