Emington cream

iKon Fabricemingto/fa1/gol

Emington Cream shows a large scrolling floral pattern lifted in muted taupe against a warm cream ground. The woven texture gives the design a gentle richness rather than a sharp contrast.

About this fabric

Emington Cream from the iKon collection is composed of 69% cotton and 31% polyester, with a substantial 530gsm handle and a 20,000 Martindale rub test, making it suitable for curtains, blinds and upholstery. The visible ground is a soft cream with a warm undertone, while the motif reads as aged taupe and mushroom, creating a calm tonal effect rather than a bold graphic one. Its woven surface catches the light subtly, which helps the scrolling floral forms feel layered and slightly antique. With a usable width of 138cm and a vertical pattern repeat of 66cm, it is well suited to tailored drapery and statement seating alike. Dry clean only; dry iron.

How to use it

Use this colourway where you want pattern with restraint: it works beautifully on a large armchair, relaxed curtains or roman blinds in neutral rooms. Pair it with oak, limestone and other muted naturals to bring out the warm cream ground.

A softly tonal damask that adds depth without feeling heavy.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
