Calais Ivory

Calais Fabric

Calais Ivory is a quietly textured plain with a soft, airy ivory tone. The weave reads like a refined natural linen look, with subtle contrast in the threads giving the surface gentle depth.

About this fabric

This colourway sits in a warm, muted ivory rather than a bright white, so it feels soft and understated in the cloth. The fine open weave is clearly visible across the surface, creating a linen-like texture that catches the light without appearing glossy. It is specified as 52% Recycled Polyester and 48% Polyester, with a generous 300 cm width, and it is intended for curtaining. With no rub test noted and a plain pattern repeat, it is best read as a simple, fabric-first textile with a calm, tailored finish.

How to use it

Use Calais Ivory for full-length curtains or sheer-style drapes where you want light to feel filtered and relaxed. Its pale flax-like tone pairs neatly with oak, chalk paint and other soft neutrals.

A calm ivory ground that softens a room without feeling stark.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
