Calais Meadow

Calais Fabric

Calais Meadow is a quietly earthy olive with a gentle, woven surface that reads natural and unfussy. The wide-width plain cloth gives it a relaxed, tailored feel rather than a glossy finish.

About this fabric

This colourway shows a soft meadow olive tone with a muted, slightly warm cast, and the close weave gives the surface a fine, even texture. It is specified as a curtaining fabric, making practical sense for the fluid, low-key look visible here. The cloth is composed of 52% Recycled Polyester and 48% Polyester, with a generous 300 cm width for broader window drops and fewer joins. With no pattern repeat and no martindale rub test noted, it is presented as a plain, lightweight decorative textile rather than an upholstery-led cloth.

How to use it

Use this shade for full-length curtains where you want the colour to sit back softly against timber, linen or painted walls. Its muted olive tone works especially well in rooms aiming for a calm, botanical, lived-in feel.

A calm, nature-led green that softens a room without feeling flat.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
