About this fabric

This colourway shows a pale glacier grey tone with a slight silvery cast, made up of a tight, low-contrast plain weave that keeps the surface looking neat and refined. The fabric is specified for curtaining and comes in a generous 300 cm width, making it well suited to wide drops and streamlined window dressing. Its composition of 52% recycled polyester and 48% polyester gives the cloth a practical, modern handle while keeping the appearance crisp and unobtrusive. With no pattern repeat and no Martindale rating noted, it is best read here as a simple, elegant drapery fabric rather than a hard-wearing upholstery cloth.

How to use it

Use Calais Glacier for full-length curtains, sheers, or layered blinds where a cool neutral is needed to soften a room without adding colour. It works especially well with white oak, brushed metal, and chalky paint finishes.

A crisp, airy neutral that suits tailored curtains and calm contemporary rooms.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
