Cape Mohair Atlantic

Cape Mohair Fabric

Cape Mohair Atlantic is a smooth plain mohair blend with a cool, slate blue-grey cast. The nap-like surface catches the light softly, giving the colour a quiet depth rather than a flat finish.

About this fabric

Woven in 50% mohair and 50% acrylic, this upholstery fabric has the dense, softly brushed feel that suits seating and other hard-working pieces. The Atlantic colourway reads as a deep grey with blue undertones, cooler than a true charcoal and slightly softened by the texture in the pile. At 140 cm wide and with a plain pattern repeat, it is straightforward to cut and use across tailored furniture. The 80,000 Martindale rub test confirms the practical durability behind the refined, muted appearance.

How to use it

Use Atlantic on a sofa, armchair, or banquette where you want a strong neutral with a cooler edge. It pairs well with pale oak, chalk white, and brushed metal, or with navy and ink for a layered tonal scheme.

A cool, tailored neutral that gives upholstery a calm, modern depth.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
