Cape Mohair Horizon

Cape Mohair Fabric

Cape Mohair Horizon is a cool mid grey swatch with a soft, tightly textured surface and a subtly shaded finish. The tone feels clean and contemporary, with just enough depth to keep it from reading flat.

About this fabric

Woven in 50% mohair and 50% acrylic, this plain fabric has the dense, gently brushed look you can see in the swatch image. At 140 cm wide and rated to 80,000 Martindale rubs, it is specified for upholstery and clearly suits hard-working seating. The colourway sits in a calm, cool grey family, with a mid-tone depth that softens bright light and gives the surface a quiet, tailored character. Its fine, even texture adds visual interest without introducing pattern, making it easy to use across larger furniture pieces.

How to use it

Use Horizon on a sofa, armchair or banquette where a restrained grey with a soft mohair character is needed. It works especially well with black accents, pale oak and textured neutrals.

Pair with crisp linens and dark timber for a refined, contemporary look.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
