About this fabric

Cabret Natural from Warwick is an upholstery fabric woven in a 59% viscose, 29% cotton, 9% linen and 3% polyester blend, with a 137 cm width and an 18,000 Martindale rub test. The pattern repeats at H9 x V14 cm, giving the design a structured rhythm across the cloth. In this colourway, the ground reads as a muted stone grey with cloudy beige undertones, while the raised pattern catches the light in lighter chalky notes. Small dark charcoal details add contrast without making the surface feel harsh, so the weave stays refined rather than high-contrast.

How to use it

This softer grey version works well on an armchair, banquette or headboard where you want pattern without brightness. Pair it with pale oak, black metal or warm white walls to keep the tone calm and contemporary.

A smart grey ground with crisp dark accents that gives the weave a tailored, contemporary feel.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Cabret Natural without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
