Cabret Calypso

Cabret Fabric

Cabret Calypso brings a lively, woven geometric look in softened mineral shades, lifted by touches of coral, mustard and inky black. The surface has a tactile, basket-like texture that gives the pattern real depth in the fold.

About this fabric

Cabret Calypso from Warwick’s Cabret collection is an upholstery fabric with a textured weave and a medium-scale geometric pattern, repeating at H9 x V14 cm. Its 59% viscose, 29% cotton, 9% linen and 3% polyester composition gives the cloth a slightly dry, characterful handle rather than a smooth finish. In this colourway, cool blue-grey and soft silver sit alongside mustard, coral and black accents, so the design feels animated but still grounded. With a 137 cm width and an 18,000 Martindale rub test, it is suited to everyday seating where pattern and texture need to be seen close up.

How to use it

Use Cabret Calypso on an accent chair, ottoman or upholstered headboard to bring colour without overwhelming the room. It pairs especially well with warm oak, chalky paint shades and plain linens that pick out the coral and mustard notes.

The softened mineral palette works well on tailored seating or a statement chair.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
