About this fabric
Woven in 50% cotton and 50% polyester, this fabric has a substantial 480gsm handle and a practical 10,000 Martindale rating, making it suitable for curtains, blinds and upholstery. The visible surface shows a deep teal blue ground with darker charcoal accents that break across the design like worn brushstrokes, adding texture without feeling busy. Its 143cm width and 35cm horizontal by 43cm vertical pattern repeat make it straightforward to plan for both soft furnishings and seating. Dry clean only care and do not iron instructions suit the textured finish and help preserve the fabric’s crisp surface character.
How to use it
Use Orta Blue on a statement armchair, bench or fitted curtains where its cool depth can anchor paler walls and brushed metal finishes. The moody blue-green tone works especially well with oak, walnut and warm neutral linens.
