Kemble Blue

Medora FabricF4787-01

Kemble Blue reads as a deep teal-blue ground with a lively dark motif and a lighter, sandy outline that gives the design real movement. The small-scale repeat creates a dense, tactile surface that feels sharp and graphic in the swatch.

About this fabric

This Medora fabric is woven in a 63% viscose, 21% acrylic and 16% cotton blend, giving the cloth a refined handle with a slightly plush, textured look. The pattern is a compact all-over design, with blackish-blue forms edged in warm pale beige so the blue appears richer and more dimensional. With an approximate width of 140cm and a repeat of V 24cm / H 18cm, it has enough presence for tailored upholstery or structured drapery. The overall effect is cool, deep and quietly energetic rather than bright, which makes the colourway feel especially versatile in a scheme that needs contrast without glare.

How to use it

Use Kemble Blue on an armchair, bench or cushions where the small pattern can be appreciated up close. Its deep teal note works well beside natural woods, ivory paintwork and brushed brass for a composed, smart finish.

A crisp, small-scale pattern that adds depth without overpowering a room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
