Kemble Taupe

Medora FabricF4787-04

Kemble Taupe shows a small, irregular all-over pattern that reads as textured and lively rather than flat. The warm taupe ground is broken up by darker brown detailing, giving the surface a softly mottled, dimensional look.

About this fabric

This Medora fabric is composed of 63% viscose, 21% acrylic and 16% cotton, with an approximate width of 140cm and a repeat of V 24cm / H 18cm. In this taupe colourway, the tiny abstract motif appears as a dense field of interlocking marks, with the darker accents sitting close against the lighter base for a subtle tonal contrast. The overall effect is warm and earthy, but the pattern keeps it from feeling heavy or static. Its mid-weight composition and decorative scale make it suitable for both upholstery and drapery, depending on the look you want to achieve.

How to use it

Use Kemble Taupe to bring gentle pattern into a room without overwhelming other finishes; it sits especially well with oak, bronze and plaster tones. The muted warmth of the colourway makes it an easy partner for calm, layered schemes with textured neutrals.

A versatile taupe ground with tactile contrast that works neatly across relaxed seating and tailored curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
