Kemble Forest

Medora FabricF4787-02

Kemble Forest is a richly textured green colourway with a softly speckled surface and a compact, organic all-over pattern. The woven finish gives the design a gently shaded look rather than a flat block of colour.

About this fabric

Kemble Forest from the Medora collection by Colefax and Fowler is a fabric with a repeat of approximately V 24cm and H 18cm, and a width of approximately 140cm. Its composition of 63% viscose, 21% acrylic and 16% cotton helps create the soft, tactile surface visible here, with the pattern settling into a dense, pebble-like rhythm across the cloth. The colour reads as mossy forest green, with darker green and muted olive tones breaking up the surface so it feels grounded and slightly weathered. The overall effect is smart and textural, with enough visual movement to keep upholstery or cushions interesting without becoming busy.

How to use it

Use this green on a classic armchair, banquette or tailored headboard where the small-scale pattern can add depth without dominating. It sits especially well with natural woods, leather and warmer neutrals that pick up the olive undertone.

A textured green with subtle depth, ideal for tailored seating or a statement armchair.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Kemble Forest without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
