About this fabric

This Colefax and Fowler fabric has a medium-scale check with a 14cm vertical and horizontal repeat, giving it a balanced, orderly rhythm across the cloth. The blend of 63% viscose, 26% cotton, 6% linen and 5% acrylic gives the surface a fine woven look with a subtle natural texture rather than a glossy finish. At approximately 141cm wide, it is a practical width for making up larger furnishing pieces, and the taupe ground reads as warm and muted with a gentle cream crossline. The care code Q 8 < T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use Bowen Check Taupe on a pair of tailored curtains or a smart armchair where the warm taupe tone can sit beside oak, linen and aged brass. It also works well with biscuit, ivory and mushroom shades when you want pattern without strong contrast.
