Bowen Check Red from Colefax and Fowler’s Magnus Checks collection has a medium-scale check with a repeat of approximately V 14cm / H 14cm, which reads clearly across the cloth without feeling oversized. The blend of 63% viscose, 26% cotton, 6% linen and 5% acrylic gives it a softly slubbed, woven surface that suits both upholstery and drapery use. Its red is warm and slightly earthy, with enough depth to feel grounded while the lighter crossing lines lift the pattern and stop it from looking too heavy. At approximately 141cm wide, it is a practical choice for furniture pieces, cushions, and curtains where a crisp checked layout is wanted.

How to use it
