Bantry Tapestry Blue

Magnus Checks FabricF4240-12

Bantry Tapestry Blue shows a tightly woven herringbone check effect in a cool, muted blue-grey tone. The small-scale pattern reads crisp and tailored rather than bold.

About this fabric

This colourway has a weathered slate-blue character, softened by greyed undertones that stop the check from feeling sharp or high contrast. The woven surface has a fine, dry-looking texture that suits the fabric’s 45% viscose, 35% cotton, 16% linen and 4% polyester composition. With an approximate width of 141cm and a horizontal repeat of about 2cm, it is easy to plan for neat pattern matching on cushions, chairs or curtains. The overall effect is smart and understated, with the blue appearing slightly deeper in the darker bars of the weave and lighter where the texture catches the light.

How to use it

Use it for tailored armchairs, bench seats or Roman blinds where the small blue check can bring order without dominating the room. It pairs especially well with pale timber, chalky paint colours and soft neutrals.

A restrained blue check that works neatly on tailored upholstery or polished curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Bantry Tapestry Blue without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
