Boscombe Blue

Boscombe FabricJ0140-09

Boscombe Blue has a cool, slate-toned look with a subtle herringbone-like texture that catches the light softly across the surface. The overall effect is refined and quietly contemporary rather than bright or glossy.

About this fabric

This Boscombe colourway reads as a muted blue-grey, with fine vertical striations and a soft woven grain that gives the cloth depth without bold patterning. The fabric is supplied at approximately 136cm wide and has no repeat, making the texture itself the main feature on the finished piece. Its composition is 53% Polyacrylic, 35% Polyester, and 12% Polyacrylic (FR), with care code C 8 + T 3 and fire code K. Visually it feels tailored and measured, with enough surface interest to lift plain seating while staying restrained. The cooler slate cast keeps it smart and easy to pair with oak, painted wood, and pale neutrals.

How to use it

Use Boscombe Blue on a clean-lined armchair, banquette, or scatter cushions where the woven texture can be appreciated up close. Its subdued blue-grey tone works especially well with chalky whites, weathered timber, and deeper navy accents.

A cool slate blue that gives tailored upholstery a calm, understated finish.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
