Boscombe Red

Boscombe FabricJ0140-01

Boscombe Red is a finely textured woven fabric with a quiet herringbone-like look and a warm, muted brick-red ground. The close, regular weave gives it a tailored feel rather than a bold statement.

About this fabric

This Boscombe colourway reads as a softened red-brown, with beige threads breaking through the surface so the finish feels heathered and lightly weathered. The small repeating chevron effect has no visible repeat (V 0cm / H 0cm approx), which keeps the cloth looking neatly woven and orderly. At 136cm approx wide, it offers a practical cloth width for upholstery projects, and the composition of 53% Polyacrylic, 35% Polyester, 12% Polyacrylic (FR) gives it a resilient, structured handle. The C 8 + T 3 care code and K fire code confirm it as a specified performance-minded upholstery fabric, even though no additional performance features are noted.

How to use it

Use Boscombe Red on an accent chair, dining seat or ottoman where its earthy red tone can add warmth without overpowering the room. It pairs well with oak, tan leather and muted neutrals, especially in rooms that need a smart, grounded colour.

A warm, understated red that brings structure and depth to seating or cushions.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
