Quadretto Red
Pelham FabricF4022-15
Quadretto Red is a tightly woven small-scale fabric in a muted brick red tone, with a dry, textured surface that reads rich rather than bright. The tiny checkerboard effect gives the colour extra depth and a quietly tailored feel.

About this fabric
Quadretto Red from Colefax and Fowler’s Pelham collection is composed of 52% viscose, 28% cotton and 20% polyester, with an approximate width of 138cm and a vertical and horizontal repeat of 1cm. In this colourway, the weave shows a warm brick-red ground broken by lighter flecks that soften the shade and keep it from feeling flat. The surface has a crisp, small-scale texture that adds interest close up while still reading as a usable, all-over cloth. With no performance features noted and a fire code of √BM, it is a refined option for furnishing schemes that want colour without excess gloss.
How to use it
Use this red beside dark timber, walnut or painted cream joinery to let the textured weave stand out. It works especially well in schemes that need a warm, grounded accent with enough subtlety for coordinated upholstery and curtains.
A smart, versatile red with a tightly woven texture that suits tailored upholstery and elegant curtains.

Pairs well with
Quadretto Red is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.
Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
