Sylvestra Red/Green

Romilly FabricF4944-03

Sylvestra Red/Green combines broad woven stripes with fine ornamental bands in a softly aged palette. The cream ground keeps the red and olive details lifted rather than heavy.

About this fabric

This Fabric has a repeat of V 36cm / H 14cm approx and a width of 142cm approx, giving the stripe layout a measured, decorative rhythm. The composition of 52% Cotton, 19% Viscose, 14% Linen, 6% Wool, 5% Polyester, 4% Acrylic suggests a cloth with some body and a natural, lightly textured handle. In this colourway the red reads as muted terracotta rather than bright crimson, while the green appears as an olive trim that sharpens the pattern without dominating it. The cream and beige ground softens the contrast, so the overall effect is warm, tailored and quietly traditional.

How to use it

It works well on upholstered pieces with simple lines, where the stripe can run horizontally and show off the repeated bands. Pair it with aged timber, brushed brass and chalky neutrals to echo the warm red and olive tones.

Use for relaxed upholstery or tailored curtains where the terracotta-red stripes and olive accents can lead the room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
