About this fabric
Woven in 100% cotton, this Romilly colourway has a regular V 3cm / H 3cm approx repeat and a width of 136cm approx. The design reads as a dense lattice of warm tomato red, brick and burgundy, with lighter highlights that lift the pattern and keep it from feeling flat. Its cotton ground gives the surface a dry, tactile look rather than a glossy finish, which suits the disciplined geometry well. The compact repeat and balanced handle make it a versatile choice for both upholstery and drapery where a smart, patterned red is wanted.
How to use it
Use it to bring warmth to a club chair, banquette or bedside headboard, or let it add richness at the window against painted woodwork and cream walls. The deep tomato tone pairs especially well with aged brass, walnut and soft neutrals.
A crisp small-scale pattern that adds warmth and depth to tailored upholstery or elegant curtains.

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Romilly Tomato without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
