Faroe Tomato

Faroe FabricLF2042

Faroe Tomato is a deep, warm red woven with a fine herringbone texture. In the close-up, its brick-tomato ground is enlivened by subtle darker and lighter threads rather than a flat, uniform colour.

About this fabric

This 137cm-wide Faroe fabric combines 40% wool with linen, viscose, cotton and polyester to create a densely textured woven surface. The small-scale herringbone is clearly visible across the tomato-red face, giving the colour gentle movement while retaining a tailored appearance. Its Contract and General Domestic upholstery grades make it suitable for fixed upholstery, and the supplied usage also includes curtains. Faroe Tomato is dry clean only.

How to use it

Pair this warm tomato red with dark timber, tobacco leather or soft oatmeal upholstery for a grounded, enveloping scheme. Used at the window, the fine herringbone can add colour and texture without introducing a large motif.

Use the deep tomato tone to bring warmth and depth to tailored upholstery, or let the fine herringbone add understated texture to curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
