Faroe Sand

Faroe FabricLF2042

Faroe Sand has a warm, softly muted beige ground with a fine herringbone texture visible across the weave. Subtle lighter and golden threads give the surface gentle tonal movement without creating a bold pattern.

About this fabric

This small-scale herringbone is woven from 40% wool, 20% cotton, 18% viscose, 16% linen and 6% polyester, giving the sand-coloured surface a softly tactile, finely flecked appearance. The close weave reads as a versatile mid-weight textile, suitable for both curtains and fixed upholstery. At approximately 137cm wide, it offers a consistent field of warm beige with delicate cream and honey-toned variation catching the light across the chevron texture. Faroe Sand is graded for Contract and General Domestic use and should be dry cleaned.

How to use it

Use Faroe Sand to warm pale walls, natural timber and stone with its understated sand-beige tone. Its fine herringbone texture works equally well on tailored fixed seating or full-length curtains where a quiet woven detail is wanted.

A warm sand-beige herringbone that brings subtle woven texture to curtains, fixed upholstery and relaxed interiors.

Pairs well with

Faroe Sand is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
