Faroe Cerise

Faroe FabricLF2042

Faroe Cerise is a deep cerise and burgundy textile with a finely scaled herringbone weave. Pale pink-red threads flicker through the surface, giving the rich ground subtle movement rather than a flat block of colour.

About this fabric

The close herringbone construction creates a lightly textured, tailored surface, while the dark cerise tone reads warm and saturated with a muted burgundy depth. Composed of 40% wool, 20% cotton, 18% viscose, 16% linen and 6% polyester, it has a substantial woven character suited to practical interior use. At approximately 137cm wide, Faroe Cerise is specified for curtains and fixed upholstery. It carries Contract and General Domestic upholstery grades and should be dry cleaned.

How to use it

Use Faroe Cerise on a structured armchair, dining seat or sofa where its burgundy-cerise depth can act as the room’s warm colour anchor. As curtains, it pairs well with softened neutrals, dark timber and aged metal, allowing the small herringbone texture to add detail without introducing a bold motif.

The deep cerise herringbone brings richly coloured texture to tailored upholstery and softly structured curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
