Westray Raspberry

Westray FabricLF1932

Westray Raspberry has a rich raspberry-red ground crossed by small cream flecks that build a repeating diamond and zigzag design. The close woven surface gives the colour visual depth, shifting between vivid red and darker berry tones.

About this fabric

This Linwood fabric is woven from 30% wool and 70% cotton, with an approximate width of 137cm. Its raspberry-red and cream pattern is formed from tightly repeated stepped diamonds, chevrons and broken geometric lines rather than a flat printed motif. The textured weave makes the pale threads catch across the surface, adding a lively, tactile contrast to the saturated red ground. It is specified for Fixed Upholstery and carries Contract and General Domestic upholstery grades; after-care is Dry Clean.

How to use it

Use Westray Raspberry to bring warm berry colour and graphic definition to an occasional chair, sofa or headboard. Balance its cream flecks with oatmeal, stone or softly weathered wood rather than introducing another strong red.

Use this richly coloured woven upholstery on a statement chair, sofa or headboard, pairing it with warm neutrals to soften the pattern.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
