Westray FabricLF1932

Westray Currant has a richly textured, close-set weave in deep currant red, threaded with warm cream and soft taupe. Its broken geometric pattern gives the surface a lively, hand-worked character while retaining an earthy depth.

About this fabric

The fabric shows repeating angular and diamond-like forms created by contrasting red and cream yarns, with the irregular weave adding subtle movement across the surface. The deep currant ground reads warm and muted rather than bright, while the lighter threads catch the eye in small flecks and diagonal runs. At approximately 137cm wide, it is specified for fixed upholstery and carries Contract and General Domestic grades. It is made from 30% wool and 70% cotton and requires dry cleaning.

How to use it

Pair this warm currant colourway with natural timber, aged leather and soft ivory upholstery for a grounded scheme. It also works well as a graphic accent on a chair or compact sofa, where the cream flecks can be echoed in cushions or wall tones.

Use this warm currant weave to bring depth and graphic texture to sofas, dining chairs or occasional upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
