Westray Camel

Westray FabricLF1932

Westray Camel has a warm camel-tan ground threaded with ivory and deeper tan yarns, creating a softly mottled woven surface. Its small broken diagonal marks give the swatch a subtle geometric rhythm rather than a flat plain finish.

About this fabric

The close weave combines short diagonal and chevron-like marks in camel, ivory and muted tan, with a lightly nubby texture that catches the light unevenly. Made from 30% wool and 70% cotton, Westray Camel is approximately 137cm wide and specified for fixed upholstery. It is graded for Contract and General Domestic use, making it suitable for upholstered seating in both residential and commercial interiors. After-care is dry clean.

How to use it

Pair this warm, earthy camel colourway with chalky ivory, walnut and natural timber for a calm, textural scheme. It works especially well on sofas, dining chairs and occasional seating where the small-scale weave can be seen up close.

Use this warm camel weave on relaxed seating, where its ivory flecks and tactile surface add quiet depth.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Westray Camel without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
