Appaloosa Brown

Animal Prints FabricAPPLSCHCLT

Appaloosa Brown combines a warm cream ground with scattered, irregular animal markings in deep brown and near-black. Its tactile woven surface gives the pattern more depth than a flat printed spot design.

About this fabric

The fabric is visibly textured, with a softly uneven surface that catches the light across the cream background. Varied brown and black markings range from compact shapes to larger, shaggy-edged forms, creating a lively but balanced repeat. The warm oatmeal tone keeps the colourway grounded, while the darkest marks add definition and contrast. Its substantial-looking woven face makes it especially well suited to upholstery where the distinctive pattern can be appreciated across a chair, footstool or statement seat.

How to use it

Pair Appaloosa Brown with walnut timber, dark brown leather and warm neutral walls to draw out its earthy depth. Use it on a single accent chair or ottoman when the cream ground needs to soften a stronger animal-print statement.

Use the warm cream ground and deep brown-black markings to bring an expressive, tailored accent to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
