Saddle Espresso

Saddle Fabric004

Saddle Espresso has a deep, earthy brown tone with subtle tonal variation across its surface. The close-up reveals a fine, naturally pebbled grain rather than a printed motif, giving this plain colourway a softly tactile character.

About this fabric

Composed of 75% leather and 25% polyester, Saddle Espresso combines a rich espresso-brown appearance with the small-scale grain visible in the swatch. Its surface shifts gently between brown and muted tan as the light catches the uneven texture, avoiding a flat or overly glossy finish. At approximately 137cm wide, it is specified for Fixed Upholstery and graded for Contract and General Domestic use. The listed after-care is spongeable, making it suitable for upholstered seating where a plain, grounded finish is required.

How to use it

Use Saddle Espresso on a tailored armchair, sofa or bench where its warm, dark brown depth can anchor a room. Balance the leather grain with light walls, natural timber and softer tan or oatmeal textiles.

Pair the deep espresso-brown grain with warm timber, tan accents and tailored upholstery for a quietly refined interior.

Pairs well with

Saddle Espresso is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
