Saddle Tan

Saddle Fabric002

Saddle Tan has a warm, earthy tan ground with softly shifting areas of darker and lighter colour across the surface. The close-up reveals a fine, suede-like visual texture rather than a defined printed motif.

About this fabric

This colourway reads as a rich saddle tan, sitting between warm beige and light brown with a gently aged, natural depth. Irregular cloudy mottling moves across the cloth, while the tiny granular texture catches the light in subtly varied directions. The effect is tactile and softly brushed-looking, although no composition or performance specification has been supplied. Its restrained tonal variation keeps the surface visually interesting without introducing a strong repeated pattern.

How to use it

Use Saddle Tan to give a chair, sofa or headboard a grounded, leather-adjacent warmth without the harder contrast of a dark brown. It pairs naturally with cream, tobacco, muted olive and other sun-warmed neutrals.

Its warm, softly mottled surface brings earthy depth to upholstered seating and occasional furniture.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
