About this fabric

This plain velvet has a dense-looking, even pile that catches the light along the folds, creating understated tonal movement rather than a printed pattern. Its warm fudge shade sits between camel tan and soft brown, giving the surface a grounded yet plush appearance. Made from 100% polyester and approximately 137cm wide, it is specified for fixed upholstery in contract and general domestic settings. Care instructions allow delicate washing at 30°C or dry cleaning, with 3% shrinkage to be allowed for.

How to use it

Pair this warm tan-brown velvet with tobacco leather, aged timber and creamy neutrals for a relaxed, richly layered room. Its low-contrast plain surface is especially suited to sofas, dining chairs and occasional seating where the pile can show gentle light variation.
