Moleskin Velvet Navy is a deep, cool-toned blue velvet with a plain surface and a subtly shifting pile. The folds in the swatch move from near-black navy shadows to clearer blue highlights, bringing depth without a motif.

About this fabric

This 100% polyester velvet is approximately 137cm wide and specified for fixed upholstery. Its dense-looking pile reads as a rich, dark navy, while changes in direction catch the light across the otherwise plain surface. The fabric is graded for Contract and General Domestic use, making it suitable for upholstered seating in both settings. Care instructions allow a Delicate Wash at 30°C or Dry Clean, with 3% shrinkage to be allowed for.

How to use it

Use this cool, saturated navy on a sofa, headboard or statement armchair where its dark tone can anchor paler walls, warm timber and brushed metal. Keep surrounding textiles quieter to let the velvet’s changing blue sheen provide the visual depth.
